Brazil's Pan American Champion Daniel Cargnin claimed a bronze medal at the World Championships in Tashkent in 2022. He became World Junior Champion in Zagreb in 2017 and took bronze at the 2015 Junior Worlds in Abu Dhabi. Cargnin won the Pan American title in 2019 in Lima. World Mixed team bronze in Tokyo in 2019. Daniel won the Grand Slam in Brasilia in 2019. He took bronze at the GP in Zagreb in 2022. He claimed gold at the IJF Masters in Jerusalem in 2022 and silver in Paris in 2023. He claimed a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Tel Aviv. He won the PanAm Open in Bahia in 2023.
