Guusje Steenhuis won silver at the World Championships in Baku in 2018 World bronze in 2023 in Doha and 2021 in Budapest. She won the European Games in 2019. She took gold at the Grand Slams in Baku four times, Abu Dhabi twice and Tyumen. She won the GP The Hague in 2017. Steenhuis won European Games bronze in 2015, silver in 2016, 2017 and 2021. She took bronze at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. She took a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Paris in 2024 and silver in Tbilisi. She won bronze at the IJF Masters in Jerusalem 2022. She has the fifth Dan grade.
