Paralympic judoka Serhii Kotenko of Ukraine won judo silver at the 2014 IBSA World Championships in Colorado. In 2015 he won bronze at the IBSA European Championships in Lisbon. In 2015 he took bronze at the World Games in Seoul. He won bronze at the IBSA World Cup Eger (HUN) in 2015. Third at the World Ranking in advance of the Paralympic Games in Rio, seeded third. He won the IBSA European bronze medal in Walsall in 2017. He claimed the bronze medal at the IBSA Grand Prix in Baku in 2019.
